Darin Alan Hustead passed away Thursday, June 12, 2025, in Branson, Missouri, at the age of 64 from natural causes. Although it may seem as though he died at an early age, Darin lived an extraordinary life that was never boring. He was born May 25, 1961, in Keokuk, Iowa, to his parents, Gene and Norma Hustead. He had a career in real estate and development as well as various positions at Shepherd of the Hills and Silver Dollar City.

Darin was preceded in death by his parents; nephew, Joshua Hustead; and brother-in-law, John Brown. Darin is survived by his son, Andy Hustead; daughter, Lauren Hustead and significant other, Blake Ball; wife, Deanna Hilton Hustead; sister, Pam Brown; brother, Dennis (Gail) Hustead; mother of his children, Elizabeth Nappi; niece, Caity (Kevin) Creighton; and seven nephews: Shannon Brown, Timothy Thomas, Ryan (Pauli) Brown, Brandon Brown, Tim (Robin) Schaum, Chris Schaum, and Matt (Ashli) Pyle.

There will be a service Tuesday, June 24 at 11:00 am at the New Testament Christian Church, 21016 Main Street, Reeds Spring, Missouri 65737 to honor Darin’s life and share great memories. Memorial donations can be made to Reeds Spring High School Attention: Youth Activities to continue impacting children’s lives through the Youth Sports program.
