Deanna Tabor, age 90, passed away on February 9, 2025.
With saddened hearts, the family of Deanna Tabor announces her passing on February 9, 2026, in Branson, Missouri, with family by her side.
Deanna began her journey in Plainview, Minnesota, where she was born on November 25, 1936, to Albert and Violet (Goetz) Schmidt. She grew up in the Oronoco, Minnesota area and attended Pine Island school.
After high school, she met a young man named Maurice Tabor, they were married on February 3, 1956 in Oronoco, Minnesota. Together, they had just celebrated seventy years of marriage. They were blessed with two loving daughters, Deb and Tonja.
In 1976, Deanna and Maurice left Minnesota to make Branson their home, where they opened and operated Clements Auto Body and Salvage Yard for many years. When she wasn’t busy with work, Deanna enjoyed crocheting and knitting. She also loved playing cards and dominoes and was always a good partner at the table. Most of all, she cherished her family, and time spent together was her greatest treasure.
Deanna will be deeply missed by her husband, Maurice Tabor, of the home; her daughters, Deb Mundell-O'Connor of Branson, MO and Tonja Hansen of Fond-du-Lac, WI; her grandchildren, Nikki Maschke and Justin Rolling; her great-grandchildren, Adrian, Aubree, Ruby, and Louis; along with extended family, friends, and neighbors. She was preceded in death by her parents, Albert and Violet Schmidt, and her brothers, Gayle Schmidt, Derri Schmidt, Jack Schmidt, and Allie Schmidt.
There will be no formal services scheduled. Arrangements are under the care of Snapp-Bearden Funeral Home and Crematory in Branson, Missouri.
