Dereal Azell Baker, 73, of Yellville passed away on December 17, 2025. He was born June 1, 1952, in Natchitoches, Louisiana to Margaret Calvet and Rzell Baker.

Dereal’s favorite hobbies were hunting, fishing, watching sports, going to yard sales and playing cards. He married his “life mate” Lisa in May of 1994. Retired as a Lieutenant from Alexandria Police Department in August of 2003 after 28 years of service. Moved to Yellville, Arkansas following his retirement to enjoy the Ozarks and be close to all his children.
