
Francisco Campbell, age 94, passed away on October 17, 2025.
F.E. Campbell, of Ozark, Missouri, passed away peacefully surrounded by family. He was born on January 21, 1931, in Norwood, Missouri, to Otis and Chloe Campbell. He was preceded in death by his parents; his brother, Clifford; his sister, Maydell; his wife, Ann; his daughter, Pam; and one grandchild, Angela Campbell.
F.E. married Beverly Smart (Seals) on February 5, 1949. Together they raised two children, Dennis and Pam. F.E. proudly served his country in the United States Army beginning in 1951 and was a veteran of the Korean War, earning numerous medals including two Bronze Stars for his service and bravery.
In addition to his military service, F.E. worked as a mechanic and later developed a passion for exotic animals. He bought, sold, and hauled animals across the country, traveling many miles and enjoying the adventure that came with it.
He is survived by his son Dennis and wife Donna; four grandchildren, Christie Ceplina (Tim), Wes Campbell (Jess), Henna Adams, and Carlos Adams; and numerous great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren who brought him endless joy.
In 1975, F.E. married Ann, and together they spent many wonderful years traveling the country before making their home in Ozark, Missouri.
F.E. will be remembered for his love of family, friends, his sharp sense of humor, and the countless stories he loved to share about life, service, and adventure. His legacy will live on in the hearts of all who know and love him.
Funeral services will be held at Snapp-Bearden Funeral Home & Crematory in Branson, Missouri, on Thursday, October 23. Visitation will begin at 10:00 a.m., with the funeral service to follow at 11:00 a.m. Burial will take place at 1:00 p.m. at Missouri Veterans Cemetery, Springfield.
