
Frank Byron Myers, age 67, passed away on September 21, 2025.
Frank Byron Myers, age 67, of Reeds Spring, Missouri, passed away September 21, 2025, with family by his side. He entered this life June 24, 1958, the son of Frank and Dian (Carlisle) Myers in Shawnee Mission, Kansas. Frank was joined to Alice (Brewer) Thompson on June 24, 1990.
Frank proudly served our country in the United States Navy on the USS Grayling as a Machinist's Mate First Class Petty Officer. He was awarded with Sea Service Deployment Ribbon and Submarine Enlisted Warfare Pin. After his time in the military, Frank was worked as a radiation protection agent and co-owner of Pirtek Springfield. He enjoyed boating and fishing in his free time. The memories and moment created throughout his life will be cherished by all who knew him.
Frank is survived by his significant other of thirty-seven years, Alice Thompson of Reeds Spring, Missouri; son, Brad Myers and wife, Stephanie of Lumberton, Mississippi; son, Greg Myers and wife, Rachel of Springfield, Missouri; and several grandchildren and one great-grandchild. He is also survived by his sister, Donna Griffin of Flemington, Missouri; brother, William “Bill” Myers of Olathe, Kansas; brother, Kenneth Gubera of Melbourne, Florida; and sister, Lori Boydston of Hardin, Missouri.
He is preceded in death by his parents.
There will be a private gathering held at a later date on the lake. Arrangements and cremation are under the direction of Cremations of the Ozarks.
