Geraldine Fay “Gerry” Barbeau, 64, of Eagle Rock, Missouri, passed away on Wednesday, March 25, 2026, at Mercy Hospital Aurora in Aurora, Missouri.

Gerry was born on October 29, 1961, in The Dalles, Oregon, to Glen and Sonja (Heiber) Mullins. She later married the love of her life, Russell Barbeau, on June 15, 2013, in Fairbanks, Alaska. Together, they built a life filled with love, laughter, and adventure. She is lovingly remembered by her husband, Russell; her daughter, Brandy Youhouse and husband Shane of Christiansted, U.S. Virgin Islands, and son, Joshua Barbeau of Northern California; her brother, Scott Mullins of San Francisco, California; her sister, Cindy Lee-Mullins of Castaic, California, and her four cherished grandchildren—Makinna, Eddie, Clayton, and Trent—who meant the world to her.

Gerry was preceded in death by her parents. She grew up in Saugus, California, where she attended school, and spent many years working as a waitress, forming connections and friendships everywhere she went. Gerry had a way of making people feel welcome and seen. In recent years, Gerry and Russell made their home in Eagle Rock after time spent in Bakersfield, California, and Alaska. She found joy in life’s simple pleasures—traveling, camping, exploring antique shops, and hunting for hidden treasures at garage sales.

Above all else, Gerry loved her family deeply. Her grandchildren, they were the light of her life, and she treasured every moment spent with them. She will be remembered for her warmth, her strength, and the love she gave so freely. She will be deeply missed by all who knew her. Gerry was of the Christian faith.

Private services will be held at a later date. Cremation arrangements are under direction of Fohn Funeral Home in Cassville.
