Gordon Wallace “Wally” Ward loving husband of Carolyn Ward; caring father to Richard Hueston (fiancée Peggy Minifie) of Yerington, NV and Diana Lyn Fariole of Kansas City, MO; adored grandfather of 5 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren entered into rest on January 20, 2022 at Cox Medical Center in Springfield. He was 72 years old.

Wally was born in Marshall, MO on September 29, 1949 to Seth Ward and Norma (Bryan) Ward.  He grew up in Marshall and graduated from Marshall High School.  Wally proudly served in the United States Air Force. He moved to Branson from Kansas City, MO.  On April 23, 1983, Wally married his sweetheart, Carolyn in Las Vegas, Nevada. 

Wally’s work and interests involved the same things - cars.  He was a fantastic mechanic and enjoyed working on cars. He also loved racing cars and you could find him in sprint cars and late model sportsman racers.  He enjoyed playing PS3 and he gave of his time helping his family especially his son.  Wally was also a member of the Christian Church in Branson.

Wally was preceded in death by his parents and one son, Michael Frank.

Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Snapp-Bearden Funeral Home and Crematory, Branson.
