James Hall, passed away peacefully on July 7, 2025, in Branson, Missouri, at the age of 86. James was born on April 23, 1939, in Portageville, Missouri to Mansel and Zula (Killion) Hall.
James grew up in the little community of Portageville, where he attended school. His early departure from high school in the eleventh grade marked the beginning of a long career. James's hands and heart led him to McDonnell Douglas, where he worked his skills as a fabricator in their military aircraft division. His passion for metalworking was undeniable, and it wasn't long before he ventured out on his own. James worked at a successful machine shop in St. Charles, Missouri, becoming a valuable source for area customers who relied on his expertise and craftsmanship.
Throughout his life, James's Christian faith was his guiding light, providing him with strength and comfort. He lived his beliefs through his actions, embodying the principles of teaching with love in every interaction. James’s legacy of faith will continue to inspire those he leaves behind.
Family was the center of James's world. He is survived by his loving daughters, Rebecca Hall, Belinda Hall, and Jammie (Nick) Farris, all of Branson. His life was further enriched by a host of grandchildren, including five grandchildren, two step-grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren, and four step-great-grandchildren, who will carry forward the joy he found in each of their personalities.
James also leaves behind his brother, Ronnie (Alicia) Hall of Branson, and his sisters, Mary (Jim) Henson of North Carolina, and Evelyn Maylath of St. Louis. His family was his pride and joy, and the memories they created together will be treasured forever. He was predeceased by his wife Patricia and parents, Mansel and Zula (Killion) Hall.
Beyond his work and family, James had a love for life's simple pleasures. He was often found surrounded by family, partaking in gatherings filled with good food and laughter. A fan of western movies, he could be counted on to enjoy a classic film with a plate of his favorite fried chicken. James's warmth and generosity of spirit made every occasion special, and his absence will be deeply felt by all who had the privilege of knowing him.
Graveside Services for James Hall were held July 8, 2025 in the Ozarks Memorial Park Cemetery, Branson, Missouri at 11:00 A.M. under the care of Snapp-Bearden Funeral Home and Crematory.
