Jayke Michael Lebsock

Jayke Michael Lebsock, age 19, of Hollister, Missouri.

Jayke Michael Lebsock, age 19, of Hollister, Missouri, passed away on March 2, 2025. He entered this life on January 14, 2006, the son of Gregory and Elizabeth Ann (Barnes) Lebsock in Springfield, Missouri.

Early in his life, Jayke gained an appreciation for God’s word. His kind and caring nature toward others was evident in how he lived. Jayke attended fourth through ninth grade in Ava, Missouri, where he was fondly known as “Smiley.” In tenth grade, Jayke moved to Hollister with his family. Following his graduation from Hollister High School, Jayke attended College of the Ozarks, where he majored in physical education. His infectious grin and gentle demeaner quickly made him popular on campus. He came to know the Lord on September 27, 2015. He loved the Lord and was a cheerleader for many. His strong faith was a testament in how he treated others and his outlook on life. When Jayke put his faith in his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, he decided this was his life’s mission.

Jayke enjoyed farming, athletics in general, and watching sports, especially his beloved Cleveland Browns. He adored his family and his church, Sonrise Baptist Church. With a loving heart, he was a caretaker for many.

Jayke is survived by his parents, Gregory and Elizabeth Lebsock of Hollister, Missouri; a brother, Will Lebsock of Hollister, Missouri; and his gramps, Ken Lebsock of Yuma, Colorado. He is also survived by his uncle, Mike Lebsock and wife, Missie of Yuma, Colorado; an aunt, Pam Miller and husband, Greg of Wallace, North Carolina; his aunt, Rose Shook and husband, Junior of Hollister, Missouri; his uncle, Jimmy Barnes of Hollister, Missouri; as well as several cousins.

He is preceded in death by his grandparents: William Barnes, Diann Latty, and Alice Lebsock; as well as an uncle, Rick Lebsock.

There will be a celebration of Jayke’s life held 3:00 p.m. on March 16, 2025, at College of the Ozarks Williams Memorial Chapel, 237 Christian St, Point Lookout, Missouri, with Pastor Kevin Carson officiating and pianist Craig Carson.
