JoAnn Trowbridge, age 82, of Harrison, Arkansas, passed away on August 8, 2025.

JoAnn Trowbridge, age 82, of Harrison, Arkansas, passed away on August 8, 2025. She entered this life on May 17, 1943, in Senath, Missouri, the daughter of Gordon and Mary (Hudson) Flood. 

A talent for art, JoAnn could be found painting, drawing, crocheting, and watching videos on art. She enjoyed shopping at Hobby Lobby where she could let her creative mind run wild. JoAnn liked sewing clothes for her children and spoiling her grandbabies. Children and animals gravitated to her as she was a sweet, beautiful, giving, and caring women who loved without conditions. JoAnn will be cherished for all time and will never be forgotten.

She was preceded in death by her parents: Gordon and Frances Flood; husband of 43 years, Edward Lee Trowbridge; daughter, Fran Love Trowbridge; grandson, Justin Lee Brown; sisters: Phyllis Kaye LaValley and Marlen Janet LaValley; in-laws: Lucy Love and Franklin Trowbridge; sister-in-law, Sarah Ann Crowe; and dogs: Choco and Loulou. JoAnn is survived by her two sons: Eddie Ray (Freda) Trowbridge of St. Charles, Missouri, and James Christopher (Judy Daughtery) Trowbridge of Harrison, Arkansas; two daughters: Pamela (Jim) Brown of Harrison, Arkansas and Deborah Trowbridge of Harrison, Arkansas; and nine grandchildren: Jennifer Ann Love (Michael) Ross, Bryan Joshua Matthew (Sonny Sanders) Brown, Jonathan Tyler (Niki Richards) Trowbridge, Charles “Winston” Trowbridge, Andrew Thomas Trowbridge, Jeremy Dean Brown, Kristal Lee White, James Rubio, and Kourtnie LeRae Trowbridge.

She is also survived by many great-grandbabies; one great-great-grandbaby; two sisters: Joyce Elaine (Leslie) Eckhart and Brenda Lou Flood; nieces, nephews, and extended family; and her dog, Buddy. A private celebration of life will be held at a later date and she will be laid to rest with her husband at Fayetteville National Cemetery in Fayetteville, Arkansas.
