Joseph Robert “Joe” Wogoman, age 74, passed away on October 6, 2025.

Brother Joseph Robert “Joe” Wogoman, age 74, of Purdy, Missouri passed away Monday, October 6, 2025 at his home.

He was born January 12, 1951 in Wheaton, Missouri the son of Robert and Marjorie (Wells) Wogoman. On December 19, 1970 in Cassville, Missouri he was united in marriage to Becky Stewart, who survives. Also surviving are his sons, Matt Wogoman and wife Tonya of Purdy, Missouri and Dusty Wogoman and wife Summer of Purdy, Missouri; brother, Jack Wogoman and wife Norma of Purdy, Missouri; grandchildren, Zacherey, Joseph, Deja and Aaron and eight great grandchildren.

Preceding him in death were his parents and brother, John Wogoman.

Joe grew up and attended school in Wheaton, Missouri. He owned and operated Joe Wogoman’s Dry Wall for twenty years. Joe was the respected founding senior pastor of the New Freedom Worship Center in Purdy, where he was still leading his congregation with wisdom and grace. Fishing, mowing, and spending time with his family were the joys that filled Joe’s leisure hours. He will be missed by all who knew and loved him.

A memorial service will be held at 2:00 P.M. Saturday, October 18, 2025 at New Freedom Worship Center in Purdy. Brother James Eakins, Brother Ben Morgan, and Brother Bill Coble will conduct the service.

Cremation arrangements are under direction of Fohn Funeral Home in Cassville.
