Judy A. Hodges of Hollister, MO passed away on August 7, 2025.

Judy A. Hodges of Hollister entered her heavenly home on August 7, 2025.  Judy was born April 19, 1945 in Rural White River Township south of Hollister to Wayne and Jewell (Bilyeu) McFarland.  Judy grew up and went all through school at Hollister. Judy was a long-time community member, working in the hospitality profession from keeping the office in order for the JayZee Company to keeping charge of housekeeping duties for guests at Westgate Resorts. 

Judy was united in marriage to Chester “Chet” Hodges on Bull Shoals Lake as a testimony to Judy’s love of life’s gifts, and her happiness in the comforts of the outdoors.  You could find Judy and Chet out hunting, tending to the garden, taking trips to the car wash, and enjoying trips to War Eagle Park. Cooking was one of Judy’s specialties and she loved spending time preparing delicious food. Judy also cherished her church time as a member and her church family at Victor Baptist Church.

Judy is preceded in her passing by her parents, daughter JoAnn Keys, brother Charles “Butch”, sisters LaVonia, Leona, and Karen. She leaves behind her loving husband Chester “Chet”, children Doug and wife Jenny, Thomas,  Lynn and companion David.  She is also survived by her brother Terry McFarland and wife Vicki, her sister Janice Johnson, three grandchildren, two great grandchildren and one great greatgrandchild.  Judy will also be missed by a host of extended family, friends, and her church.

Funeral service will be at Victor Baptist Church on August 11, 2025 at 2:00 p.m. with burial to follow in Oak Ridge Cemetery in Walnut Shade, Missouri. Memorials in Judy’s memory may be made to Victor Baptist Church.
