Lois Lorraine Groman, age 88, passed away on January 13, 2026.

Lois Lorraine Groman, age 88, passed away at home with family by her side on January 13, 2026. She entered this life on April 3, 1938, the daughter of Basil and Della (McClurkin) McCue in Lakin, Kansas. Lois was joined in marriage to Gary Groman on January 24, 1964, at U. S. Marine Base at Camp Schwab, Okinawa.

Lois devoted herself wholeheartedly as a head nurse in the United States Navy, reaching Lieutenant rank in 1961. Her compassion and skill continued to shine throughout her nursing career until 1980, when she brought her care and commitment to their Dangerous Goods consulting and training company, Government Service Institute, Inc. as business manager.

Loved and cherished for her unwavering dedication both at work and at home, Lois was the heart of her family and was a devoted loving mother to her three children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. She deeply valued her relationship with Christ, praying every morning always striving to attend church whenever her health allowed. All who had the privilege of knowing her will treasure the memories and moments she created throughout her life.
