Loretta Mae Huff

Loretta Mae Huff, age 89, of Branson, Missouri.

Loretta Mae Huff, age 89, of Branson, Missouri, entered her eternal home with the Lord, April 28, 2025. She was born May 19, 1935, in Evansville, Indiana, the second youngest of six children, to James and Lois (Ours) Knepper. She leaves behind a large, loving family who will cherish the many memories she created with them.

Loretta worked hard her whole life to provide a loving and caring home for her husband and children. She was a dedicated and faithful military wife who was very organized. As a military spouse she lived in many places in the states and overseas. Being an active member and finding a church home was a priority in her life. One of her many joys in life was to provide her family with delicious meals, crafted with love.

Later in life, Loretta helped care for the homebound elderly members of her community. However, if someone were to ask her what was her greatest love in life, she would happily say her relationship with her Savior, Jesus Christ. Loretta Huff was a shining example of how a Godly, Christian woman should live. She will be missed by many who knew and loved her.

Loretta was preceded in death by her parents; two husbands: Parvin Young, the father of her children, and Kenneth Huff; a son, Walter Young; a daughter, Lisa Jones; three brothers; and her two sisters.

Loretta is survived by two children and their spouses: Teresa (husband Keith) Pinson of Lampe, Missouri, and Dwight (wife Leta) Young of Branson, Missouri; and seven grandchildren: Jennifer Pinson-Evans, Jonathan Pinson; Jared, Jason and Elizabeth Young; Riley Jones and Roxanna Brock. She is also survived by twenty great-grandchildren: Kyleigh, Makenzie, Chaselyn, Peyton, and Slade Evans; Kaleb, Madalyn, Samantha, Lia, Lexi, Hailey, Shaun, Amaya, Aiden, and Elsie Young; Andrew, Wyatt and Marshall Jones; Alison and Zachary Faldon. Her three great-great-grandchildren: Haven Evans, Raeni and Dwayne Carter have survived her as well.

She had many nieces and nephews and their families that dearly loved her.

Arrangements and cremation are under the direction of Cremations of the Ozarks. Inurnment will be held at a later time at Ft. Smith National Cemetery, Ft. Smith, Arkansas, where she will be placed with her first husband, Parvin Young.
