Margaret Josephine Link, age 94, of Gresham, Oregon passed away Wednesday, October 22, 2025.
She was born December 4, 1930 in Cincinnati, Ohio the daughter of Edward C. and Anna K. (Hochstrasser) Schreiber. On August 8, 1949 in Norfolk, Virginia she was united in marriage to Herbert Link, who preceded her in death on June 25, 2006. Also preceding her in death were her parents; son, Michael Link; daughter, Nancy Jane McGhee; brothers, Carl Schreiber, Ed Schreiber and Richard Everhart and sisters, Eleanor Grabill and Anna Louise Baudendistel.
Surviving are her son, John Link and wife Teresa of Virginia Beach, Virginia; daughters, Susan Anderson and husband Ed of Gresham, Oregon, Joan Russell of Cassville, Missouri and Linda Barlow and husband Wesley of Great Bend, Kansas; sister-in-law, Barbara Schreiber of Milford, Ohio; grandchildren, Dakota Russell and wife Haley of Cassville, Missouri, Jim Anderson and wife Kim of Copperas Cove, Texas, Jason Anderson of Puerto Rico, Carrie Curles and husband Brian of Manteo, North Carolina, Katie Jauret and husband Jason of Middletown, Rhode Island, Jamie Link of Virginia Beach, Virginia, Sarah Popchoke of Great Bend, Kansas and Joshua Popchoke of Michigan; ten great grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.
Margaret graduated from Milford High School in Milford, Ohio. After moving to Cassville, she was employed by Fohn Funeral Home in Cassville for several years. Some of her favorite pastimes were crocheting, quilting, word search puzzles, playing bingo and cooking. She was a lifetime member of the VFW and also a member of First Baptist Church in Cassville. She will be missed by all who knew and loved her.
A memorial service will be held at 10:00 A.M. Thursday, November 13, 2025 at First Baptist Church in Cassville under direction of Fohn Funeral Home in Cassville. Pastor James Weaver will conduct the services.
The family will receive friends from 5:00 until 6:00 P.M. Wednesday, November 12, 2025 at Fohn Funeral Home in Cassville.
