Mark Harrison Zook, age 68, passed away on November 2, 2025.

Mark Harrison Zook, 68 of Powersite, entered into rest on Sunday, November 2, 2025 at his home.

Mark was born on February 2, 1957 in Marion County, Indiana to Henry and Nancy Zook.  He graduated from Portage High School in 1975.  Mark proudly served in the United States Air Force.  After his military service, he worked many years as a truck driver for a moving company.

Mark moved from Texas to Powersite 20 years ago.  He was a member of the Cowboy Church.

He enjoyed being outdoors, fishing and hunting.  He liked listening to music, and classic rock and roll was his favorite.  Most of all, he loved his family, going to family reunions and researching family history.

Mark will be deeply missed by his family: siblings, Andrew Zook (Alisa) of Viola, AR, Stewart Zook of Jasper, AR, Karan Sheid of Branson; half-siblings, Mike Zook (Lora) of Ravendon, AR, Judy Waggy (Mark) of TN and Jeri Banks (Ray) of Mountain Home, AR along with several nieces, nephews and extended family including his cousin, John Lindley.

Mark will be deeply missed by his family: brothers and sisters, Andrew Zook (Alisa) of Viola, AR, Stewart Zook of Jasper, AR, Karan Sheid of Branson, Mike Zook (Lora) of Ravendon, AR, Judy Waggy (Mark) of TN and Jeri Banks (Ray) of Mountain Home, AR along with several nieces, nephews and extended family including his cousin, John Lindley. Mark was preceded in death by his parents, Henry & Nancy; brother, William Zook; sister, Lillie Elaine Logsdon and his dear cousin, Patty Perkins.

Funeral services are scheduled for Wednesday, November 12, 2025.  Visitation will be at 10:00 am in Snapp-Bearden Funeral Home & Crematory with funeral services to follow at 11:00 am.  Burial will be at 1:00 pm in Missouri Veterans Cemetery, Springfield with military honors.
