Michael Edward Belyea

Michael Edward Belyea, age 52, passed away on November 25, 2025.

Michael Edward Belyea, or better known as “Good Ole Mike Belyea,” passed away on November 25, 2025, at the age of 52. To his daughters Sophie and Alyssa, he was more than a father—he was their steady place in the world, their biggest supporter, and their closest friend.

Mike was a proud U.S. Army veteran who served as a medic, dedicating himself to protecting and caring for others with courage, compassion, and unwavering duty. He carried the heart of a healer and the strength of a soldier, always putting others before himself. His family takes comfort in knowing he gave everything he had—his service, his bravery, and ultimately his life—for the country he loved.

He was a hardworking man who took pride in every mile he drove and every weld he laid. Whether behind the wheel of a truck or working with his hands, Mike carried a sense of purpose that showed in everything he did. When he wasn’t working, he found peace in painting and creating art, seeing the world in colors and shapes others might overlook.

Mike was also known for his quick wit and unforgettable sense of humor. He had a gift for making people laugh— lightening even the heaviest days—and turning difficult moments into memories that still bring smiles to those who loved him.
Above all his skills, passions, and service, being a father was what he cherished most. Sophie and Alyssa were his heart, and he made sure they always knew it.

He had a way of making people feel welcome, a laugh that could brighten any room, and a presence that made life feel just a little easier. “Good Ole Mike Belyea” will be remembered for his strength, his creativity, his humor, his service as an Army medic, and the unconditional love he gave so freely. His family will forever hold his memory close and carry his love—with all the laughs, light, and lessons he gave— into every chapter of their lives.

He was preceded in death by his father Harry Mansfield Belyea Jr. and his step-father Raymond Arnold Clark.
Mike is survived by his loving mother, Rita Clark and his siblings: Robert Belyea, Edward Belyea, Sheri Sheppard, Julie King, Matthew Belyea, and Zachary Belyea, his children Johnathen Ross, Alyssa Belyea, and Sophie Neer, and his grandchildren Bryson Belyea, Teagan Duncan, Rowan Duncan, Mason Wilkey, and Cabela Neer and a host of nieces and nephews all of whom shared a lifetime of laughter, memories, and a bond that shaped who he was. Being a son, brother, father, and uncle was a role he carried with pride, loyalty, and deep love.

A private service for the family is scheduled at the National Cemetery in Fayetteville, Arkansas.  The family is planning another Celebration of Life at a later date for Michael’s friends and loved ones. Arrangements are under the care of Diamond State Cremation in Lead Hill, Arkansas.
