Michael Wayne Auld, 74, of Mountain Home, Arkansas, passed away peacefully on July 21, 2025.
Born in 1951 to Joyce (Eaton) Auld and George Auld, in Princeton, IN. He carried with him a deep love for sports, nature, and his family throughout his life. He found joy in trout fishing along the White River, relaxing in his sunroom with music and scripture, and cheering on those he loved most.
Michael dedicated much of his life to helping others as a drug and alcohol counselor, offering support, understanding, and hope to countless individuals.
He is survived by his loving children: Lizette and Eric Collins of Piedmont, OK; Melissa (Missy) Auld of Shawnee, OK; Michael (M.G.) Auld and partner Kiley Mills of Prague, OK; Matt and Chelsie Auld of Oklahoma City, OK; Nick and Tedda Auld of Prague, OK; and Christina (Chrissy) and Kevin O’Brien of Lowell, MA. He was a proud grandfather to 16 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren, and a beloved uncle to many nieces and nephews.
Michael is also survived by his brothers: Steve Auld and partner Bony Taylor of Yukon, OK; Dale and Roxie Auld of Seminole, OK; Julie Auld (widow of brother Dennis); Mark Auld of Konawa, OK; and Don and Joy Stanley of Bella Vista, AR.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Joyce and George Auld, and his brother Dennis Auld.
A celebration of Michael’s life will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, August 2, 2025, at the Evangelical Center, 18502 US-177, Shawnee, OK 74801.
Michael will be remembered for his gentle spirit, strong faith, and the unconditional love he gave to all who knew him.
