
Mila Lynn McDonald...
Mila Lynn McDonald was born on February 8, 2011 in Branson. She grew up in Forsyth and would have been beginning her freshman year at Forsyth High School in just a few weeks. She tragically succumbed to injuries sustained in an automobile accident on July 22, 2025 at the young age of 14.
Mila was beautiful, sweet and exuded a vibrant energy. Her family meant everything to her and she was an amazing sister to her siblings, Blake, Chloé, Isaiah, Keilani and Kai. She held a special place in her heart for all her family, especially her grandparents who were integral in raising her. She shared an unbreakable bond with her Papa Kim, who made Mila feel like anything in the world was possible with him by her side. Mila was a great friend and loved hanging out with her friends. She was also a quintessential teenager and enjoyed spending time on her phone and eating Taco Bell. She loved jewelry and wearing bracelets that expressed her creativity and personality. Mila will also be remembered for being active in sports at Forsyth schools where she played volleyball and basketball.
She will be missed beyond what words can express. Mila is survived by her Mom, Justine McDonald & Step-Father Derrick Lazier; her Dad, Joseph Gonzalez & Step-Mother Kristina Gonzalez; Siblings, Blake McDonald, Chloé Lazier, Isaiah, Keilani, and Kai Gonzalez; Grandmother, Shannon Aumiller, Step-Grandfather, Dana Aumiller, Grandfather, Kim McDonald; Grandmother Connie Franko and Grandfather Reekie Franko; Aunt Rebecca, Adraine, and Yvonne out of San Diego, Great-Aunts and Uncles, Wayne Wiseman, Barrie Wiseman, Sylvia & Garry McDonald and a host of extended family and friends around the country.
Mila was preceded in death by her Grandfather, Nick Gonzalez and Uncle Rex McDonald.
Her life will be celebrated on Saturday, August 2, 2025 at the Forsyth High School Gymnasium, 178 Panther St., Forsyth, MO at 6:30 PM.
