Nancy G. Cox, age 81, of Rocky Comfort, Missouri

Nancy G. Cox, age 81, of Rocky Comfort, Missouri passed away Wednesday, August 2, 2023, at Mercy Hospital Springfield in Springfield, Missouri.

            She was born April 25, 1942, in Kansas City, Kansas the daughter of Arnold P. and Florence Marie (Northern) Asher. In Lecompton, Kansas in 1981 she was united in marriage to James “Jim” Cox, who survives. Also surviving are two daughters, Deborah McHugh of Linwood, Kansas and Dodi David of Wichita, Kansas; two brothers, Garry Asher and his wife Nancy of Lawrence, Kansas and Wesley Warren and his wife Carol of Pennsylvania; six grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

            Preceding her in death were her parents; one son, Danny; one grandson, Kyle and one sister, Judy Kay.

            Nancy was employed by Kansas Color Press as a press operator. She enjoyed quilting, gardening, photography and dogs.

            Private services will be held at a later date. Cremation arrangements are under direction of McQueen Funeral Home in Wheaton, Missouri.
