
Pamela Jean Thomas, 71, passed away on August 24, 2025.
Pamela Jean Thomas was born on March 5, 1954, in Springfield, Missouri, to Bill and Ruby (Snider) Thomas. She was a lifelong resident of Taney County, graduating from Branson High School.
During and after high school, Jean worked in housekeeping at several Branson hotels and resorts, and worked as the head of housekeeping at Ozark Mountain Resort. Jean applied her talents in local restaurants as a cook, delighting in preparing meals. She also served as activities director at Forsyth Rehabilitation & Health Care Center, organizing programs that brightened the lives of residents and fostered a sense of belonging. For 15 years, she dedicated herself to Mini-Circuits in Branson, contributing her skills to a range of projects.
Jean was a devoted member of Faith Assembly of God Church, cherishing her church family and her faith. Her love for the Lord was evident in her daily life and interactions.
Jean had a deep affection for the outdoors. She took pride in working outside, tending to her yard and nurturing her flowers. Her family was her world; she adored having her grandchildren nearby, creating lasting memories. Pamela’s love extended to her puppies, whose companionship brought her happiness and warmth. Jean entered into rest on Sunday, August 24, 2025 at Cox Medical Center in Branson.
She is survived by her daughters, Pauletta Kelly of Forsyth and Elizabeth Holcomb of Kirbyville; step-children, Dillon McBride and Daisy Shepherd; her sister, Faye Allen of Kensett, AR and eight adored grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Bill & Ruby Thomas; grandparents, Burl & Lizzie Thomas and Ike & Della Snider; brothers, Billy, Eddie, Ray and Jimmy Thomas; her sister, Donna Clevenger; two grandchildren; and other aunts, uncles and cousins.
She lived a life full of hard work, compassion, and love—for her church, her family, her friends, and every creature in her care. She will be deeply missed.
A celebration of Jean’s life will be held on Saturday, August 30, 2025 at the Branson RecPlex from 1:00-4:00 p.m..Cremation arrangements were in the care of Snapp-Bearden Funeral Home & Crematory.
