Phyllis Marie Fulton, 83, passed away on September 1, 2025.

Phyllis Marie Fulton, age 83, of Houston, Texas, passed away on Monday, September 1, 2025, at MD Anderson Cancer Center in Houston, Texas. 

She was born on January 21, 1942, in Denton, Texas, to Thomas Norman “T.N.” and Edna (Sprayberry) Bothwell, who preceded her in death. Also preceding her were her daughter, Donna Dion Fulton; grandson, Jason Matthew Fulton; and brother, Larry Bothwell. 

Surviving her are her son, David Fulton, and his wife Fei of Houston, Texas; daughter, Dia McBurnett of Bella Vista, Arkansas; sister, Jeannie Darlene Bothwell Ackard and her husband Larry of Keller, Texas; 11 grandchildren; and 19 great grandchildren. 
Phyllis grew up and attended school in Denton, Texas, later studying nursing in California while living with her mother and stepdad. She participated in dance and modeled part-time. After relocating to Cassville with her two daughters, she worked as a waitress at Crowe’s Dinner House, where she met Lynn Fulton. They married in 1965. Phyllis then attended beauty school in Cassville and owned her own beauty shop after moving with Lynn to Rogers, Arkansas. She had a kind heart and was friendly to everyone she met. She loved cooking and hosting large family dinners. As a devoted mother, she cherished her family, especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren. Phyllis loved the Lord wholeheartedly and consistently helped the church through meals, visits, and prayer for the sick. She was a giver of all she had. Phyllis was a member of Eastside Assembly of God in Bentonville, Arkansas.

Services will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Thursday, September 11, 2025, at Eastside Assembly of God in Bentonville, Arkansas, under direction of Fohn Funeral Home in Cassville. Pastor Robert Ward will officiate. Burial will be at 3:00 P.M. Thursday, September 11, 2025 at Corinth Cemetery in Cassville, Missouri.

The family will receive friends from 10:00 A.M. until the service begins on Thursday at Eastside Assembly of God in Bentonville, Arkansas.
