Robert Lee Coffelt

Robert Lee Coffelt, age 94, passed away on October 27, 2025.

Robert Lee Coffelt was born May 22, 1931 in Branson , Missouri.  He passed away on October 27, 2025 in Bella Vista, Arkansas.

Robert is survived by his sister, Shirley Keys of Branson, MO; a step-daughter/caregiver, Marcia Parton; a niece he has claimed as a daughter since 1985, Shetha Coffelt; and several nieces and nephews whom he loved very much and it was given directly back!

He was preceded in death by his parents, Walter Granville Coffelt and Lillie M. (Thomason) Coffelt; two wives, Virginia Coffelt and Violet Coffelt; siblings, Lorene Colston, Marie Parsons, Edna Smiley, Cora Coffelt, Glen Coffelt and Junior Coffelt. He attended school in Hollister, MO.  After leaving school, he served in the Korean War on the front lines, in the United States Army as a PFC.

He worked as a union laborer.  He loved Jesus and received the Lord in his early 20s and felt the call to preach the Word. He was an evangelist who traveled all over Taney County preaching about the one he loved. He was a faithful member of the old Church of God on 76 and then on Mt. Branson. All together he was a member for 71 years, what an accomplishment!

Funeral services for Robert  will be Thursday, October 30, 2025 at Mt. Branson Church of God.  Visitation will begin at 1:00 pm with funeral services to follow at 2:00 pm.  Burial will be at Brown Cemetery with military honors.
