Ronald “Ronnie” Dane Clark, age 75, passed away on November 15, 2025.
Ronald “Ronnie” Dane Clark, age 75, of Galena, Missouri, departed this life November 15, 2025, surrounded by his loving family. He was born March 25, 1950, in Ponca City, Oklahoma, the son of C.E. “Andy” and Lois Clark. Ronnie was joined in marriage November 28, 1969, to Jacque Edwards. His parents and a sister, Lynnita Fisher, precede him in death.
Growing up in Ponca City, Ronnie developed a deep passion for sports. Whether it was playing football, baseball, waterskiing at Lake Ponca or watching his beloved Oklahoma Sooners. Throughout his life, Ronnie attended or watched every Sooner game he could whenever possible. His most cherished memories were attending games with his family, as they cheered in unison: “Boomer Sooner!”
As a young man, following high school graduation and some college, Ronnie proudly served his country in the United States Army during the Vietnam War for 6 years. After his honorable service to this nation, Ronnie began a 33-year career in the petroleum industry, working for Continental Carbon. After retirement in 2010, Ronnie and Jacque moved to the Table Rock Lake area, where he could pursue his other passions of living the lake and beach life, and travel. Their favorite destinations were Pensacola Beach, Lake Michigan and anywhere their family was.
As much as Ronnie adored his Oklahoma Sooners, waterskiing and being on the water, his greatest love was his family, who meant more to him than anything. He was their biggest cheerleader and supporter. From attending his children’s and grandchildren’s sporting events to traveling with his beloved family, Ronnie dedicated his life to being a loving husband, father, father-in-law, grandfather, great-grandfather, and big brother. Having never met a stranger, he always greeted others with a hug and his wonderful smile, especially Sunday mornings at Woodland Hills Family Church, where he and Jacque were members.
Ronnie is survived by his loving wife of nearly 56 years, Jacque Clark; a daughter and her husband, Crystal and Wesley Parich of Tomball, Texas; a son and his wife, Todd and Jody Clark of Collinsville, Oklahoma; his grandchildren (and spouses): Brett (Emma) Renken, Tayor (Austin) Sugg, Tristan Clark, Addy Clark, Lyndee Parich, and Paige Parich; five great-grandchildren: Lane Sugg, Coleman Sugg, Hartley Sugg, Caddo Sugg, and Hank Renken; bonus brothers: Kerry Edwards, Billie Edwards, and Chuck McClellan; as well as several nieces, nephews and other family.
A celebration of Ronnie’s life with military honors will be held 11:00 A.M. Friday, November 21, 2025, at New Life Assembly of God, 12215 N. Garnett Road, Collinsville, Oklahoma 74021, with Pastor Bill Savage officiating.
