Sean Patrick Summers, 54, of Franklin, Arkansas, passed away peacefully on June 24, 2025. Born on August 19, 1970. Sean lived a life filled with adventure, love, and unwavering dedication to his family and country.
Sean proudly served his nation, first in the United States Navy and later in the United States Army, including deployment during the Iraq War from 2003-2005. His military service reflected his commitment to protecting the freedom we all cherish.
A natural entrepreneur, Sean worked alongside his beloved wife Alicia as they built their self-employed business together. At the time of his passing, he was excitedly building his dream home in Franklin, Arkansas—a testament to his vision and determination to create something lasting for his family.
Sean possessed an extraordinary gift for connecting with people. His vibrant personality and genuine warmth drew others to him wherever he went, and he had a remarkable ability to make new friends in every place he visited. His infectious sense of humor and zest for life touched everyone who was blessed to know him.
Above all, Sean was a devoted family man who cherished every moment with his loved ones. When he wasn’t spending time with family, you could find him on his motorcycle, riding the open roads, nothing brought him more pure joy than the freedom of the ride and the wind in his face.
Sean is survived by his loving wife, Alicia Summers; his children Steven Summers and spouse Kaitlin, Tiffany Carney and husband Troy, Sean Summers Jr., Spencer Gillespie and wife Phebie, and Blake Gillespie and wife Madison; his cherished grandchildren Kayson, Jameson, Wrenly, Adrian, and Eli; his parents Linda Jordan and William Summers; and his siblings Kelly Reynolds and husband Dan, and Bill Summers Jr. and wife Kat, Joseph Summers and Penny Summers.
Sean’s legacy lives on through the countless lives he touched, the laughter he shared, and the love he gave so freely. He will be deeply missed but never forgotten by all who knew him.
A Memorial Service with honors will be held on July 4th, 2025, at 3:00PM, bring a lawn chair. The location is 28 E. Valley Drive, Hardy, Arkansas 72542.
