
Sherry Lee Ritchey, 76, of Peel, Arkansas.
Sherry Lee Ritchey, 76, of Peel, Arkansas, passed away at Cox Medical Center in Branson on July 4, 2025. She was born on January 25, 1949, in Lincoln, Nebraska, the daughter of Howard and Marion (McAdam) Chandler.
Sherry had many interests and hobbies, among them were crocheting, she loved to make doilies and Afghans, sewing and making quilts, canning vegetables she grew in her garden, and maintaining her flower garden. She was a collector of various items, Cuckoo clocks, Curious George items and miniature teapot sets. Sherry was a lover of all music and enjoyed traveling.
Sherry was a member of the United Methodist Church in Diamond City, Arkansas. She and her husband Chuck were married on November 21, 2001, and moved to Arkansas in 2004 from Illinois. Sherry loved all animals, especially her dog, 4 cats and duck. Her favorite was her sidekick Sammy, her white fluffy lap dog.
Sherry is preceded in death by her Borghild McAdam, her parents and a sister Judy Hubbard. She is survived by her husband Chuck Ritchey, her children Rachel (Nate) Hassett, Julie Logan, Adam (Brandi) Hudziak, Doug Ritchey, Jeff (Nancy) Ritchey, Essie (Anthony) Ponton, one grandson Stephen (Michelle) Hassett and numerous granddaughters, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and four sisters.
A funeral is planned for July 11, 2025, visitation starting at 11:00 and funeral beginning at noon, located at the United Methodist Church in Diamond City, Arkansas. Officiating the funeral will be Pastor Steve Cook.
