Stephen Curtis Allen, age 63, passed away on February 18, 2026.

Stephen Curtis Allen, 63, of Green Forest, Arkansas, passed away on February 18, 2026.  Stephen was born on April 22, 1962, in San Jose, California.

From an early age, he carried a love for the open road and adventure, eventually spending 35 years living this dream as an over-the-road truck driver.  He took great pride in his work and the life he built through dedication, perseverance, and hard work.  In addition to his career, he honorably served in the United State Army Reserves, a reflection of his commitment, strength, and patriotism.

Above all else, Stephen was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather.  He shared 42 beautiful years of marriage with his beloved wife, Dwala D. Allen.  Together they built a family that was the center of his world.

He is survived by his wife Dwala, his three daughters: Rashel Brown and spouse Allen Brown, Nicole Saylors, and Angela Allen.  He was a proud grandfather to Laurynn Dillow, Brandon Campbell, Landon Brown, Emmaliegh Brown, Hayden Allen, Joslynn Saylors, and Jeremiah Morrell, and a cherished great-grandfather to two great grandchildren.  Also, he leaves behind four sisters, three brothers, and a multitude of other family members and friends.

He is preceded in death by his parents, James and Evelyn Allen, and his brother Thomas Allen.
Stephen was an attendee of Mary Mother of God Catholic Church, where his faith was an important part of his life.  He treasured family gatherings, backyard BBQ cookouts, boating trips, camping adventures, and time spent with his loyal dog, Cookie.  Whether around a grill, at a campsite, or on the water, he was happiest when surrounded by the people he loved.

A Memorial Mass will be held on February 24, 2026, at 10:00 a.m. at the Mary Mother of God Catholic Church located at 1614 Maplewood Rd, Harrison, Arkansas 72601 followed by a graveside service at Carrollton Cemetery located at 2880 CR 912, in Alpena, Arkansas.
Stephen’s legacy lives on in the strong family he raised, the miles he traveled, and the countless memories made around tables, campfires, and open highways.  He will be deeply missed and forever loved.

Arrangements are under the care of Diamond State Cremation located in Lead Hill, Arkansas.
