Susan “Sue” Marie Carlson, age 60, of Branson, Missouri, passed away July 9, 2025.

Susan “Sue” Marie Carlson, age 60, of Branson, Missouri, passed away July 9, 2025. She entered this life on June 27, 1965, the daughter of Virgil and Beverly (Honnor) Wieting in Lincoln, Nebraska. Sue was joined in marriage on June 29, 2006, to Norman Carlson.

With a zest for life, Sue enjoyed attending concerts and live music events. She worked for Mickey Gilley, managing his merchandise for several years. Having a heart for adventure and a need for speed, Sue enjoyed watching NASCAR.  More than anything, she adored spending time with her family. The memories and moments created over the years will be treasured by all who knew her.

Sue is survived by her husband of 19 years, Norman Carlson of Branson, Missouri; son, Tyler Lind of Omaha, Nebraska; daughter, Amanda Lind of Omaha, Nebraska; two granddaughters: Brooke and Ashtynn Morrison; brother, Bruce Wieting and wife, Wendy of Greely, Colorado; as well as several nieces, nephews, and other extended family members. She is preceded in death by her father, Virgil Wieting; mother, Beverly Sinner; stepfather, Larry Sinner; and brother, Gary Wieting.

A celebration of life will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday August 10, 2025, at Mickey Gilley/New Shanghai Theater, 3455 W 76 Country Blvd, Branson, Missouri. There will be a family and friends gathering at Eagle Raceway August 23, 2025, at 5:00 p.m., 617 S 238th St, Eagle, Nebraska - ashes will be spread before the races in a private family gathering.
