Sue Sharon Ballard, age 84, passed away on Friday, December 26, 2025.

She was born on January 25, 1941, in Frederick, Oklahoma, to Cecil

Baxter and Naomi (Phipps) Baxter. Sue lived in the Forsyth area for more

than 20 years, having moved from Ocala, Florida, to be closer to her family.

Sue worked for many years as a secretary in the banking industry. She was

a dedicated learner and accomplished woman, earning a master’s degree

in English from Oklahoma State University. Throughout her life, she

frequently shared her love of language and learning by helping family

members with schoolwork and writing. She enjoyed butterflies, cherished

her time in Florida, and deeply loved her grandchildren and great-

grandchildren. Sue was married twice, first to Jerry Hill and later to Eddie

Ballard.

Sue is survived by her two children, Kyle Hill (wife Kim) and Kelly

Parmenter; her brother, Kent Baxter (wife Nancy) and family; seven

grandchildren, Tabatha, Bryan, Adam, Justice, Jared, Ryan, and Alaina; and eight

great-grandchildren, Jonathan, Danny, Charlie, Eli, Hailey, Emma, Carston,

and Caden.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Cecil and Naomi Baxter; her

husbands, Jerry Hill and Eddie Ballard; and her great-grandson, Danny.

Sue Sharon Ballard will be remembered for her intellect and devotion to family,

and the quiet care she extended to those she loved.

Final arrangements were under the direction of Snapp-Bearden Forsyth Chapel, Forsyth, Missouri.
