Sylvia L. Picklesimer, age 77 , passed away on January 2, 2026.

Cherished wife, mother, grandmother and friend, Sylvia L. Picklesimer, entered into rest on Friday, January 2, 2026 at her home in Branson.  She will be deeply missed by her husband, George Picklesimer of Branson; sons, Joe E. Brown of Little Rock and George Robert Picklesimer of Sherwood, AR; grandchildren, Christina Piro, Corey Brown, Stephanie Picklesimer, Anthony Picklesimer, Dallas Brown and Hunter Brown, along with her two great-grandchildren, Mikel Piro and Rylee Piro.

Sylvia was born on December 13, 1948 in Little Rock, Arkansas to William & Leta (Shook) Young.  On October 6, 1978 she married her beloved husband, George in Plummerville, Arkansas.

Sylvia worked many years for Walmart in both Arkansas and at the store on West 76 in Branson. She retired after 17 years with the company.  She loved her job, her coworkers and the many customers she served over the years.

George and Sylvia shared a beautiful love and marriage of over 47 years.  They enjoyed fishing together and being a part of Branson’s music entertainment community who will also dearly miss Sylvia.

Services will be Tuesday, January 6, 2026 in Snapp-Bearden Funeral Home & Crematory.  Visitation will begin at 12:00 p.m. with the funeral service to begin at 2:00 p.m. in the funeral home.  Burial will be in Ozarks Memorial Park Cemetery, Branson.
