Tammy Gail Myatt, age , passed away on February 7, 2026.
With heavy hearts, we announce the unexpected passing of our beloved wife, mother, grandmother, daughter, sister, and friend, Tammy Gail Myatt, who entered eternal rest on February 7, 2026. Tammy was born on February 12, 1972, in Nashville, Arkansas, to Allen “Goo” Horn and Mary Louise Treat Horn.
Tammy was absolute sunshine. She never had a bad thing to say about anyone and loved every person she met. Children were naturally drawn to her gentle spirit, and she devoted her life to working with and loving kids. She was a light in a dark world — funny, kind, warm, and full of grace. To know her was to love her.
In April of 1991, she married the love of her life, John “Jay” Myatt. For almost 35 years, they built a life centered on faith, family, laughter, and unconditional love. From that union came three children: Kristen, Jayson, and Jared — her greatest pride and deepest joy. She loved and cherished her children fiercely and carried that same love into being “Granny,” a role she treasured beyond words.
Left to cherish her precious memory are her devoted husband of nearly 35 years, Jay Myatt; daughter Kristen Smith (Tyler); sons Jayson Myatt (Anna) and Jared Myatt; her treasured grandchildren Jaxon Surett, Colt Surett, Briar Smith, Sage Smith, Jayven Myatt, Jayden Myatt, and one on the way, Kinsley Gail Myatt; her loving mother, Mary Louise Horn; her brother, Sam Horn; brother-in-law Tubby Myatt; and sister-in-law Kathy Hoskins (Hodge).
She was preceded in death by her father, Allen “Goo” Horn, and her brother, John Michael Horn.
Though our hearts are shattered by her sudden passing, we find comfort knowing she is resting in the arms of Jesus. Tammy’s laughter, warmth, and unwavering love will live on in each of us. She leaves behind a legacy of kindness, faith, and a family who will forever strive to love others the way she did.
Memorial services will be held Tuesday, February 17, 2026, at 2:00 p.m. at Harriett Assembly of God Church. Her light will never fade.
