Tasha Marie Hunter, age 47, of Kirbyville, Missouri.
Tasha Marie Hunter, age 47, of Kirbyville, Missouri, passed away on July 5, 2025. She entered this life on Monday September 5, 1977, the daughter of Jack and Margie (Wheeler) Keene in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. Tasha was joined in marriage to Jeffrey Floyd Hunter on December 24, 1997.
Tasha was a kind, nurturing soul who gave endlessly to others. She was the kind of person who showed up—with open arms, a listening ear, and a heart full of compassion. Her strength was quiet but steady, and her love ran deep.
She endured more than most will ever know, and yet she came out stronger—choosing love over bitterness, compassion over anger. Her resilience was a quiet kind of bravery, and it left a lasting impression on everyone who knew her.
She is survived by her husband, Jeff Hunter; her daughters: Stormy Helms and Skylea Hunter; sons-in-law: Logan Helms and Blaze Sayre; brother, Joshua Keene; sisters-in-law, Angie Hunter and Misty Hunter; and brothers-in-law: Jason Hunter and Scott Barnes; nieces: Catryn Lehman, Mia Hunter, and Bri Wallace; nephews: James Kelley, Owen Hunter, Joshua Clayton, and Aiden Wallace; and beloved grandchildren: Willow Helms and Rowan Helms. Tasha also leaves behind her lifelong best friend, Shellena Jones, who stood by her through every season of life.
Tasha is now reunited in peace with parents, Margie and Jack Keene; sister, Tuesday Kelley; her dear friend, Lisa Mills; her mother-in-law, Denise Hunter; and brothers Robert & Rose Myers (deceased), Patsy & Harry Harding (deceased).
Tasha’s legacy lives on in the hearts of those who knew her—in every act of kindness, in every moment of grace, and in the quiet strength passed down through generations.
Her love was fierce. Her presence will be missed deeply. And her memory will be held close, always.
Her love, strength, and care live on through the family she cherished.
