William “Bill” Arnold Knapik Jr., age 80, of Branson, Missouri.
William “Bill” Arnold Knapik Jr., age 80, of Branson, Missouri, passed away May 3, 2025. He entered this life on June 26, 1944, the son of William Arnold and Stella Catherine (Matuszczak) Knapik in Chicopee, Massachusetts. Bill was joined in marriage to Glenda Sue “Susie” Kimsey on September 28, 2019.
Bill proudly served our country in the United States Navy. After his time in the military, he joined the police force in the Kansas City area, where he was a motorcycle cop. Bill was very skilled at golf and held two hole-in-one plaques. He owned the golf range at Kings River in Shell Knob, Missouri. Bill loved traveling and spending time on cruises. He attended of Branson Christian Church. The memories and moments that he created throughout his life will be treasured by all who knew him.
Bill is survived by his wife of six years, Susie “Cook” Knapik; sons: William Arnold Knapik, III of Orlando, Florida, and Josh Knapik and wife, Katie of Golden, Missouri; grandchildren: Darth, Isabella, and Roman; fifteen great-grandchildren; bonus grandchildren: Landon, Gabe, and Isaac. He is also survived by his sister, Judy Knapik of Springfield, Massachusetts; aunt, Helen Knapik of Fort Lauderdale, Florida; and friends and other extended family members.
He is preceded in death by his parents; first wife, Olivia “Skippy” Rainey Knapik; brother, Robert Knapik; sister, Donna Knapik; and granddaughter, Spirit Knapik.
There will be a memorial service held 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday May 13, 2025, at Branson Christian Church, 213 S Commercial St, Branson, Missouri, with Pastor Don Tharp officiating.
