William Isaac “Bill” Yocum, age 81, of Exeter, Missouri passed away Tuesday, August 5, 2025 at his home.

William Isaac “Bill” Yocum, age 81, of Exeter, Missouri passed away Tuesday, August 5, 2025 at his home.

He was born in Clarion, Iowa the son of Marvin and Dorothy (Williamson) Yocum, who preceded him in death. Also preceding him in death was a sister, Mary Dillinger. Surviving are his son, Billy Yocum and his wife Venissa of Cassville, Missouri; lifelong friend, Connie Keeler of Cassville, Missouri; sister, Elizabeth Wilkinson and her husband Tim of Springfield, Missouri; three grandchildren, Grace and her fiancé Levi Smith, Faith and Saige and a lot of close friends.

Bill attended school in Cassville, Missouri where he graduated from Cassville High School in 1962. He owned and operated A One Pump Service in Exeter, Missouri for 23 years before turning the business over to his son, Billy. Prior to opening his business, he was employed by Jim Bryant Supply in Cassville, Missouri for over 40 years. Bill spent many hours at the lake fishing. As a fan of NASCAR and dirt track races, he could be found in the stands, cheering on his favorite drivers. Going to the horse races was another favorite pastime, but you could usually find him at his shop spending time with his buddies. He will be remembered with a smile and will be missed by all who knew him.

A celebration of Bill’s life will be held at a later date. Cremation arrangements are under direction of Fohn Funeral Home in Cassville.
