William David “Bill” Bynum, age 70, passed away on November 3, 2025.
William David “Bill” Bynum was born January 13, 1955 in Branson, Missouri. He was one of three children born to Kellie L. Bynum and Beatrice (Cooper) Bynum. He graduated from Branson High School and began a twenty-five year career with the Army Reserves. He retired as a Staff Seargeant in 2004.
Bill was a commercial driver and worked with Taney County Road and Bridge and Table Rock Asphalt. He had also enjoyed working at IGA, Chateau on the Lake and Branson Schools.
Bill was a life-long resident of Branson and a life-long car enthusiast. He studied hot rods in magazines , enjoyed wheeling and dealing on cars, could be found hanging out at the mechanics garage and was a proud member of Willy’s Jeep Club, always attending the Willy’s Reunion and Swap Meet in Fulton. He was a regular customer of Casey’s and McDonald’s, enjoyed by the staff for his friendly nature. He was a longtime season pass holder for Silver Dollar City, always ensuring to make it to every festival. He will be remembered for his kind, conversational and outgoing personality.
Bill grew up attending St. James Church and later was faithful at First Assembly of God in Branson.
He passed away unexpectedly on Monday, November 3, 2025 in Branson at the age of 70.
He was a cherished brother, beloved uncle and great son who took special care of his mother till her passing. He was preceded in death by his parents, Kellie Bynum and Bea Bynum and his sister, Mary Edds.
He will be missed by his sister, Alice Ice of Willard; niece, Rachel Burk husband Fred and their children of Willard; nephews, Jason Ice of Willard, Allen Edds wife Pam and their son of Branson, John Edds of Branson and his sons and Phillip Edds and wife Nicole of El Dorado Springs and their family. Bill also leaves behind special cousins including those in McKenzie, Huntingdon and Nashville, TN as well as many local friends.
Memorial services will be Friday, November 14, 2025 at 1:00 pm in Snapp-Bearden Funeral Home & Crematory, Branson with Rev. Bobby Fausett officiating. Burial will be in Ozarks Memorial Park Cemetery, Branson with full military honors.
