Wilson Kirk Bressler, 48, of Harrison, Arkansas, passed away on July 24, 2025.
He was born in Tahlequah, Oklahoma, on August 25, 1976, to Kirk and Debra (Bookout) Bressler.
Wilson was a loving husband of 25 years to Stacey and the best dog dad to his beloved fur babies, Moxie and Arlo. Wilson was a man of few words but possessed a big heart that left a lasting impact on those who knew him. He enjoyed the simple pleasures in life-game nights with some very questionable rules, off-roading adventures that may or may not have included getting stuck a few times and a roll over, peaceful outings with Stacey and their fur babies, who had him completely wrapped around their paws. He could fix anything, seriously anything. Appliances, cars, random gadgets from 1997. His workshop was his happy place (and a borderline safety hazard). He could map out as trail through the woods like a man on a top-secret mission – always ready to blaze a new trail that usually ended at a restaurant. He lived for adventures, a spark of mischief, and a heart full of love for his people – with laughter, loyalty, and just the right amount of chaos.
He is preceded in death by his father Kirk Bressler of Harrison, Arkansas, Wilson “Doc” and Dorothy Bressler of Springfield, Virginia, Charles and Dorothy Bookout of Tulsa, Oklahoma, Austin Wayne Curry of Harrison, Arkansas, and Vernon Stacey of Harrison, Arkansas. Also, Leon and Lola Bressler, his beloved fur babies. He is survived by his wife, Stacey of the home, his mother Debra, his brothers, Erik and Chris. His in-law’s Kathy Stacey Curry and Dave Freda, sister-in-law, Magan Curry, his Gigi, Mary Stacey. Also, he leaves behind three nephews David Oliver, Jack and Koleman Wayne. His brother from another mother, Danny Wood, and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins. A private service will be held for family and close friends.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to a local animal shelter in Wilson’s honor. Cremation arrangements are under the care of Diamond State Cremation, located in Lead Hill, Arkansas.
