Zachary (Zak) Allen Neal, age 38, passed away on December 20, 2025.
Zachary (Zak) Allen Neal was born December 28, 1986 in Springfield Missouri. He grew up in Nixa Missouri, where he attended school.
Zak passed away unexpectedly on December 20, 2025 in Springfield Missouri at the age of 38.
Zak loved the outdoors especially camping and floating with his family. He was an avid sports fan, his favorites were the Kansas City Chiefs along with Koby Bryant and the Lakers. Zak also loved listening to music of all genres.
Zak had a huge heart and loved to help people. Zak had been known to knock able bodied men out of the way to be the first to open the door for, or to help an elderly person. Lol
Those who knew him best say, “he gave the best hugs ever”!
Zak will be deeply missed by his mother Tami McKinney & step father Jim of Walnut Shade, Missouri, brothers Marty Neal & wife Alyssa of Branson Missouri, Chris Neal of Branson, his best friend and lifelong companion Nikolai Montoya & his beloved son Tegann of Springfield, his grandmother Jan Shy of Republic, Missouri, Aunt Ann-Marie Shy of Ozark, Missouri, Uncle Doug & Cheryl Shy Republic, Missouri, step sister Megan Grimes & family of Carl Junction, Missouri, nephews; Kaden, Shawn and nieces; Kaylee, Arinaya, Zoey, Emmy & Alora.
He was proceeded in death by his daughter April, father Marty R. Neal, maternal grandfather Roy Shy, paternal grandparents; Richard & Joan Setters, aunts & uncles; Rosetta & Jim Loren, Ronnie Duvall, Artie Neal and Johnny Neal.
A visitation and Celebration of Life will be held on January 10, 2025 at the Sanctuary of Hope Church 1790 Bee Creek Road Branson, Missouri. Visitation will begin at 2:00 p.m. with the Celebration of Life service to begin at 3:00.
