STONE COUNTY, Mo. — A Branson man charged in a 2024 Stone County human trafficking sting for arranging sex with minors pleaded guilty on Feb. 3.
Dalton Parton, born in 1998, pleaded guilty to a reduced charge of patronizing prostitution of someone less than 18 years old but older than 15. He was originally charged with second-degree attempted sex trafficking of a child.
Parton received five years’ probation and a suspended imposition of sentence, court records state.
Parton was caught in a sting operation conducted by multiple law enforcement agencies in June 2024. He was one of four men in Stone County to respond to sexually explicit ads online created by law enforcement, which claimed to be young girls from ages 14 to 17.
